- In ancient times, before people, pokemon ruled the land and the largest and most powerful were the Dragons. Jagon is one of the last two pure dragons from that age. They say one still sleeps beneath the sea of the eastern Islands.
- Jagon was a powerful dragon, dominating the east. Legend says that defeating a Jagon in battle will grant a man one wish, due to this, people hunted the Jagon.
