Details of Westminster Abbey, LondonI saw a documentary one day about churches...the commentator said during medieval time, men wanted to build the most beautiful and highest churches in Europe, something like a run to be closer of God and seek a place to paradise...he used a very strange and amusing sentence : the religious pride...men were building churches for religious pride...too bad guys...pride is just a capital sin...
I remember laughing a lot at this sentence, not knowing if the commentator was really seeking the paradox or not 
This place is a total demonstration of this for me
but I have to recognize it's an amazing building

Well I do not have much religion in my life but I do find these huge abbeys and cathedrals to be very impressive structures.Β
I really love the ruined ones we have scattered around the UK too. Still impressive even in ruins.Β

I use GIMP as well, but usually only for shitty memes and random edits. For photography I only rarely use it, sometimes for a particularly stubborn spot in the image that lightroom couldn't get rid off.
