Remember this version? That was a part of project that you can find on this chibi collection.

This project I had planned in about... 1,5 year earlier. But my computer get two times broken before I finished it. Seriously... So after long time I tryed for next time, and took me quiet much time cause became more detailed than I first planned. Somoehow in the end characters get a look alike they were cut off from paper.
I hope you will like it.
Here you can see chibie vewrsion for main cast of story that I planned - "What's up Kira?". Loing time I haven't draw them, so I quiet enjoyed that I come back for them.

Here some stuff about them:

Kira Ueda – The Protagonist. 13- years old, 2th year in junior high. Maybe because of growing up as only son in almost all female house, he well know female issues, as well get great conversational skills toward girls. So he easily get opinion of “Lady – killer” and is well known for giving advice about dating. How he says with 3 sisters in different ages and personality “You can learn something or get crazy.”
Depsite of fact Kira is short and has rather otaku interest – anime, games etc. He has rather choleric personality. Still Kira has natural affinity with people, and really cares about his pals . With tendention to seems to be magnes for weird people and situation.

Mayu Shinobu- transfer student in Kira’s class, who quickly became his disaster. Not only she is granddauther of granparent’s aquantaes, but also Ueda’s ill- tempered neighbor. And Kira is obliget to “take care” of Mayu. Troublesome when Mayu is boy- hater and has rather assertive, bad tempered personality. She likes punk rock music and style. Acts like sweet girl only next to her grandfather.

Suzu Ueda- kindergarden and Ueda’s youngest child. Rather shy towards strangers, but bubbly child next to friends. Since Ueda’s mother went to other city, she try to not cause troubles. Likes magical girls shows.

Karin Ueda- Kira’s twin sister, but they went to different middle schools. Seems rather cheerfull and happy- go -lucky teenager. She easily change her love interest as hobbies. Karin may be also quiet bad mounted and sneaky. Greatly dislike Katsuo since early childhood.

Yuuki – Karin’s best friend from middle school. She is alike boys dream – cute, funny and interested in sports. Very attached toward Karin, as well strongly dislike Katsuo. Well, Yuuki has also some secret that complicate his relationships. And which was found by Katsuo and Kira. Not only that she likes to wear shorts under her school skirt...

Haruki Ueda- the eldest child of Ueda family, university freshman. Reliable big sister, very protective towards her younger siblings. Organized person, despite being otaku with aspiration into becaming mangaka. Now she seems quiet girly, but used to be very tomboyish. Still Haruki is quiet easy to get fluster.

Katsuo Tenjou- 14-years old, same class Kira. He and Ueda twins know each other since early childhood, but Katsuo is best friend with Kira, when can’t stand Karin. Born in doctors family. High intelligent and calculating, but has big problem when need to associate with new people. Seems alike cool guy, but he neither want to say he likes geek stuff as about his crush for Haruki.
(Depsite the fact Katsuo is still school kid, he is only one here without school uniform. It because of his black hairs and eyes, there would be too much black with gakuran. So I prefered to draw him in casual clothers.)

Hiro Satou- Haruki’s best friend since middle school, since time he used to be class clown. Since that time he also get along well with Ueda family. Kind, understanding guy, but with sarcastic sence of humor. Kira treats him alike big brother figure. “Hiro” is his nickname from birthname “Hiroshimo”.
