Wow. I honestly can't remember the last time I drew something not fanart related. It's not even one of my fanfic OCs. Its just a girl...playing a violin...in the dark... And I'm actually really happy with it. I needed a break from anime related art and I got the sudden urge to draw something with a musical instrument. I was originally going to do something with a piano, since that's what I play, but holy man are pianos challenging to draw... 
I didn't feel like ripping my hair out so I chose this instead. I actually learned some interesting stuff about shading from this. I think I'll be experimenting with darker tones in the future...Reference: xruiei.deviantart.com/art/Cent…
