Good point about a double exposure, Bob. One of the points about such a shot as this is that it blurs the division between what is "real" and what is reflected. Similarly with double exposures when they are well done.
The copper toning is experimental - not sure myself on how much it works. Possibly quite effective on the leaves.
Many Thanks
David

One of my continuing themes, Linda - what is real and what is a reflection?
Many Thanks

I like how the reflection makes reality merge with illusion. Beautiful editing, something like a distant memory.

Yep - that's one of the things I'm after with shots like this. What is reflection and what is reality. Not much difference really. Add in a bit of a tangle and the illusion is all that more greater.
Many Thanks, Mayumi.

Many thanks to you, Lisa for your kind words. These are shots that you could try - perhaps you already have. It would be interesting to compare notes as to what we try to achieve. Note that I do post-process in order to bring up the contrasts and structure.
Cheers

Am I seeing reflections here, David?

Yes, indeed, Henry - reflections. I suppose one thing I'm trying to convey is that there is not much difference between reflections and the originals.
Many thanks
