Description
Shantae has always been a favorite video game character of mine, and I've certainly enjoyed that she's been getting alot more love these past years, and how much WayForward has been making sure her games receive care and attention too.

I've been wanting to make fanart of Shantae for a while, but felt I didn't have the necessary skills to pay her due respects until now. Even as I sketched her out, I surprised myself at how good she turned out.

As a matter of fact, WayForward is one of my favorite indie game companies. It'd be cool to work for them some day.

EDITOR NOTES:
my only dissapointment is that while she has a supurb action pose, her sillhouette is somewhat lost due to posing and her long hair. Still, I think i captured her happy care-free personality
