In a way it was insulting, to be told off when doing your best. To try and help and end up not actually helping at all. It wasn't as if it was his own fault that his hands got sore after reaping rye and hay for hours or that he couldn't get the farm horses to listen to him properly. He wasn't used to any of it and he knew it even if he had no clue as to what it was that he had been used to.
But it was slowly getting easier. He was getting used to being called somewhere by the name they'd given him and he had managed to laugh with a few other men who were helping on the fields and meadows. Sometimes he had time for himself too.

A little good bye picture for summer since it'll start raining soon here in Helsinki.
