Elegance at all times indeed. You have such a knack for finding great subjects, and this is well worthy of being in your pantheon.

i had a few unexpected hours to wander .. as i'd just discovered the Photography Museum, in the Marias, was ferme on both Lundi et Mardi .. and the areas around Notre Dame are so full of people, it's a photographer's field day ..

its odd, he seems really soft, textured compared to the leaves in the back ground, i like it but it threw me off at first, i had to zoom in to actually apricaite,
you should try and put this in black and white, and see how it looks to you, maybe repost a B&W version

i love the sunlight on his arm and forehead. he looks like my cat does when she rolls towards the sun in her sleep.
maybe it's just me but the dent in the trees behind makes me think he's been chased across fields and towns and bridges, on the run from debt collectors or just small children with shovels. and then he's decided he needs a sleep.
c'est typique d'un Français, non?

oui, it's typically french in that he's asleep and utterly pissed but nevertheless tres tres elegant.
