Speaks for itself XDI always wanted to draw Dís!
I do hope that she'll show in a short scene of the hobbit! Only a little peek would be enough!
I imagine Dís, mother of Fili and Kili, being a strong, proud and respectable woman. Even Thorin fears the wrath of his little sister XD
I tried to let her look like Thorin but also to make her pretty ... Did I ever say that I ship Dís/Dwalin? XD

Yeah, we had the first address and I wrote to my step-cousin but then my uncle and her mother broke up and when they both moved, neither said where they were moving to. It happened overtime you know? When you just grow apart and lose contact, also him and my parents (his sister and brother-in-law) had a falling out but I was younger, they didn't get along very well anyway. I lost contact with my step-cousin when I was 8, I miss her. I am not to fond of my uncle since he just cut all contact with us but I am an only child and my step-cousin was like the older sister I never had

I know it very well how it feels like to lose contact with your family. :/
Me and my father weren't so close as I wanted us to be. He thought the same.
We just had some conversations per telephone but it ended always in a fight, because he was too concerned abou me.
He thought the drawing wasn't good for me, because I very much disappeared in my worlds all the time, when life was harsh.
And it was harsh sometimes. I wasn't a happy child, because he left my mother when I was a baby.
We still had contact, but he thought he could tell me how to live my life by calling me sometimes per year. After one fight I didn't spoke to him for many years.
the last time we met was in Berlin. It was my brothers idea to bring the family together once more, me, my mom, my brother and our father.
I hadn't seen brother and father in 3 years befor that trip and I'm happy we did this family reunion.

I'm sorry. I am glad you did the family reunion, did you make up and regain contact? I know you probably made up but most parent's (sadly not all) are concerned for their child and feel the need to protect them but believe that all parent's need to understand that they can't tell their child how to live their lives, they can guide them, they can advise them, but they can't tell them how to live their lives, it can make the bond between them brake. If your father still tells you how to live your life or (if he stopped) tries to again may I suggest you tell him that you are happy he is concerned for you and that you understand he is only worried about you but let him know that he can't tell you how to live your life, only be there to help you with the choices you make.

He stopped. the last time we've met he was able to see the person I did become and he told me that he's proud of me.
( though some things I wasn't able to tell him yet )
I'll do this in time... Maybe the next year.
