TenTen hushed him with a kiss, pulling back just enough to speak. "I know who I am, Neji. I am your friend, your teammate...yours. Whatever happens now, I want to do those titles proud. I am not afraid."

So, the other night I couldn't sleep and came up with this awesome story where TenTen finds out she's promised to this guy in Mist when she was little, and she has to honor the contract or pay back the dowry unless she can get the groom to decide he doesn't want her. Except the groom DOES want her, no matter what she tries. Lee and Neji were her escorts, and Neji at a certain point breaks down and confesses to TenTen how he feels about her and...it's all rather Shakesperian comedy esque. I really want to give it a try .

This is probably one of the most serious scenes in the story, where TenTen has to make the final try to escape by telling her future mother-in-law about her blood limit when it was TenTen's clan that killed most of the mother's family. There is a strong possibility that TenTen could be killed.

I have fun playing with TenTen's hair style. I'd try it more with Neji, but I doubt he'd appreciate the pigtails I'm dying to put him in.
