felt like it's been a while since I did reference jokes, so I put a fair amount on this page while I could

also note, to those that read an earlier draft of this, note I changed some dialogue bits just to play it safe, the joke wasn't worth it and better to just reword it then make a big deal out of 1 line and a no no word.

oh good you like it, since the rivals are friends I try to make them antagonists by being controlled by other forces or characters, sort of making them end up on the side of bad

he's not shiny, regular deoxys is orange faded green ish. the color may appear otherwise on brighter/dimmer screens, but I colored him with palettes from regular deoxys

my screens lighting adjusts with the time of day so it doesn't screw up my eyes, so sometimes that makes coloring a bit iffy

with a free summer a faster pace. though i told myself last time and just squandered away on rpgs... but i'll balance that. do a page at a time. maybe just draw, ink(black pen ftw!) and scan. then color.
i feel i find it takes longer to lineart of the computer, though im getting better with each run though.

yea i know. i found tutorials that can make the tradional linearts as bold as it can and still look just as nice as digital.

yeah, back when I used to do my line traditionally I used fine point sharpies and such for bold lines, there's plenty of tools to still give great lines tradtionally :3

yea! i did the same with one of the comics in my gallery. though the scanner kills the color. makes it more faded. though i guess there can be remedies for that now that i realized. contrast darken thing. dang why didnt i know before. ah well i can put knowledge for the future.

yeah, a lot of people I know who do traditional end up touching up the colors back in PSD to bring the quality back. and yeah, always fun when you figure out easy way to do things you've been doing the hard way for awhile

indeed a do, seems the narrator was having trouble finding the proper moon to shift the scene to
glad you do, it'll play a part later on, and no worries, that was allllllll the way back on page 2 and it was like 2 panels, not exactly a detail I emphasized, making this all that much more of a surprise XD
