Description
Wish I could've done more for the first group mission, like shown more of the character's personalities but hopefully I did something remotely passable.
The fog was thick all through the opening of forest, the main path obscured as you go deeper in.
"What do you think the reward is, Jei-Han?" The freckled charmander spoke softly to her partner, hitching a ride on his back as the venture further into the forest.
"I'm assuming its something simple, this is an easy dungeon after all" Jei-Han replies with a matter of fact tone.
"Pfft, wheres your sense of adventure? Who knows what we could encounter in this place, don't look at a map based on its artwork!" She scoffs and notices that they've stopped in their tracks, "You ok, Jei?".
"Do you hear that Flake? Over there in the forest... It sounds like someone crying." He looks towards somewhere off the beaten path, covered by a thick growth of plant-life.
"Yeah, I can hear it. We should check it out, they might need out help." She whispers softly as they both make their way through the undergrowth and soon see a figure moving in the dense fog, the whimpering getting louder.
"Hello? Are you alright? Do you need help?" Jei-Han sternly asserts to the figure as he moves into the small clearing its in.
"Ah! W-Who's there?" The figure moves frantically to find the direction of Jei-Han's voice.
"Don't worry! We're not here to hurt you, we're Explorers!" Flake softly exclaims to them as they approach, seeing clearly now that its a small, young Cubchoo.
"Oh! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I got lost while looking for apples, I thought my momma said this was the forest I could get them in but I guess not." The cubchoo tearily approaches Flake as she climbs down from her partner's back, embracing the Cubchoo, Flake turns to her partner with a collective of tears forming in the corners of her eyes.
"We'll get you out of here, Jei-Han, we should leave before we try to get the reward, Rescue over Reward my mother always told me." Flake says wiping away the tears.
"Yes, I agree, it's the right thing to do. But do you think we'll get extra rewards for this sort of thing?" Jei-Han smiles to himself as he leads the party out the underbrush.
"Let's just focus on getting them out of here." She laughs it off as they make their way back to the path and head towards the entrance to th dungeon, the sunset's light filtering through the trees and making the fog almost dissipate.
