I think the colours really strengthen it. It's what drew me to it as soon as I looked at your gallery. It almost looks like a dirty elephant. lol. The bright green, blue and white contrast yet compliment the wonderful shades of brown. I like the angle as it gives the statue power because of it's height. It's quite lovely. I really don't think you should change it.
