It's Xenoblade Chronicles vs Fire Emblem! These two iconic masked foes are about to go head to head in the next episode of Death Battle What If? Connections BelowMetal Face vs The Black Knight Connections
-Botha re Rivals of the Main Character of their respective games(Shulk in Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and Ike in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn.)
- Both are initially invincible to any form of attack that the characters throw at them.
-Both are ultimately found to be damageable by an upgraded sword(The Monado II and Ragnell)
-They aren’t the main antagonists but they are the call to action for the main protagonist(Both Ike and Shulk's journey's are kickstarted by the actions of these two.)
-Both also kill a very important person in the main character’s life(Metal Face kills Fiora, Shulk's life long friend and The Black Knight kills Greil(Ike's father).
-Both are later revealed to be a person the main character's encounter/knew some time ago.
