Description Got to thinking lately of those individuals of the past that died in battle or engagements and were either forgotten or were left unnamed. Hence they've been lost to the annals of time, never to really be remembered as to whom they were or the life they lived.

Often times history is recorded about the famous figures, such as Julius Caesar and Alexander the Great, but not so much of those soldiers whom severed under them. It takes more than one man afterall to achieve a victory in battle. Lol

Figured this would be a interesting thing to draw, especially a good practice to do again.

Very cool message you are showing here. I wonder the same. Esp if I pass a graveyard. What was their story, how did they die. Did they have family? I saw a local war cemetery in my area recently. Seeing this names, many related, made me think of a lot of things

This is a really cool drawing! I love the values and details, it all really captures the mood of the grim truth of the unknown soldiers out there. Nice work
