Another good fall scene, and
I don't think I've ever drawn Tanaka Seiji.

This is really sad... But the cake doesn't look bad. Maybe she ate half of it after eating it. XD

Everyone's got some great gems inside them - you just got to harvest them - you know! Give it a try - I'm sure you've got a Great Imagination - greater than mine even! You'll never know until you try.
But I'm glad you think I've got something good going ^^
That makes me happy, because some days it feels like a big waste.

grand job. I love how you provide a little glimpse of a picture for most chapters. it really gets the reader to see what you are tying to describe. My mentor is always harping on about how sometimes writers try to go into description about what they want to convey, and yet the reader totally gets something else.

Thank you - I try to make a picture for a scene if I think it's a really important part, or if it's powerful or funny - those are the times were I know I can't describe something well enough for a person to see it when they're readying - so it's entirely my problem as someone writing XD It's like I want people to be able to see what I'm seeing if I think it's worth it - you know what I mean?

yes i do.
It is a very trying thing for a writer. You spend so much trying, working/reworking. Recreating, throwing out and making new ideas that you want to lay out like a royal flush for the world to see. Heart, soul and everything in between is spent in your world of writing and when you honestly believe its worth is you want to make sure that who ever is reading, scanning or glancing knows how hard you try. I think that's what makes you an excellent write/artist. You are trying to offer a different way to show your watchers, what you see in your own minds eye. But the nice thing also with About a Guy, it is set in our modern times. So we as the readers can take a glance to Hawaii or any city / campus site and sort of give the gist of what you are painting with your words.

I'm really glad you see it that way. Some days I wonder if this is worth it. I'm ashamed to say that there are times that I just want to quit and throw everything away.
But I've worked too hard, and I love my characters,my story and my readers too much to stop. I really try to make it universal - as though you may know someone just like my characters - and the places they go to. For me, they are as real as my friends and family. Bottom line is, that as long as someone reads it and takes something from it, laughed at a joke that brightened their day, or moved them to tears - I'll be happy. ^^
Again - thank you so much. At least somebody understands

Lmao of course i see it that way. We all have been there. is it really worth it, am i the only one who truly get this? yeah those questions are terrible and you just need to throw them away lol.
I can tell you have worked hard. Your characters arent perfect, in fact they have flaws which makes them believable and human which in turns allows the reader to connect with them on some level. The places are our world and you can almost make the reader want to go to the places you describe just because you gave a great description.
But i do understand completely how you feel. The characters may just be words or inks on a page/computer but that doesn't mean they don't become a part of your life. I am a writer as well, i spend days working the pages to get them just right and i always have it in the forefront of my minds. Ideas always come while i am at work and it gives the characters that much more depth because i am willing to spend all day thinking on it.
I can tell you are very much the same. Your characters would not be so perfectly -stress this word lol- human otherwise.
