Description
I have very good recollection of these teddies addicted to the Gummiberry Juice: In my infancy, this series was my favorite (together with Dungeons and Dragons)... But sadly, I could not enjoy of the end of the series until recently.
I have wanted to do an honoring and I have drawn five characters as in the near future at the end of the series (the little Cubbi already is a well-built guy XD)... I have intention of drawing all the characters of the series, I hope to have time.

¿Qué habrá pasado con los osos gummi?
Yo tengo muy buen recuerdo de estos ositos adictos al zumo de gummibayas: En mi infancia ochentera, esta serie era mi favorita (junto con Dragones y Mazmorras o "Calabozos y dragones")... Pero tristemente, yo no pude disfrutar del final de la serie hasta que no fui mayor.
He querido hacer este homenaje y he dibujado a cinco personajes como si hubieran pasado los años y ellos vivieran en un futuro próximo (el pequeño Cubbi ya es un hombretón XD)... Tengo intención de dibujar a todos los personajes de la serie, espero poder tener tiempo

I faved this a long time ago, but never commented.
I love the designs of the grown up cubs. It's just like they should look, and I'm especially satisfied with Sunni. She's not some overly sexy humanized bear woman, you know what I mean
As for Gruffi and Ursa, you know, at first I didn't really like this pairing, and I made up an OC girl for Gruffi at one time. With time though I feel like I like this pairing more and more, and I like how they have cubs, oh and Ursa's look! Great job!!! I only you could draw more of them

I'm very happy to receive such a detailed comment, thank you very much. I am glad that you like my vision, I wanted to do a good tribute to the gummi bears, it was a wonderful series, It was very agreeable of drawing to the puppies as young adults...
Ursa and Gruffi, well ... I think that they are an interesting couple, they have very much temperament, but they look like Benedick and Beatrice in " Much Ado About Nothing "
Gruffi also seemed mildly interested in Ursa in the series (which makes sense, he lives with two women but he can not have a relationship with them, Grammi looked like his mother and Sunni was old enough to be his daughter.)
As a couple, I draw Ursa more feminine as she is now a mom (although she is still a warrior)and Gruffi has a big smile of pride, He seems to think that they have done a great job... Though, their children will have very bad temper

I especially loved how you imagined an older Buddy, beefy and utterly confident in his self-identity. This is a Barbic with nothing to prove and probably still enjoys playing his flute for all to see.

Glad to hear that and it occurs to me that would be the perfect image for Buddy to have his flute hanging from his spear in that picture to symbolize his unashamed balance of interests.

When you do, seeing Cavin and Calla in armour (For the latter, a refitted version of the Gummi themed suit she wore as disguise in that contest), with both looking confident, especially for Calla who enjoys the 100% support of her father.

yeah, I think so, the series was a great TV show: this was something special that is rarely repeated. I wasn't happy with how it ended though,the end of serie was good, but I always thought that the series should have a continuation.As you say it felt like a cliff-hanger for something bigger and more spectacular

Gotta admit though; I pictured Sunni slightly taller and more mature looking, being older than Cubbi should equal a more aged appearance in comparrison,
Speaking of which, I really like the boyish grin Cubbi got, makes people remember him the way he was, always smilling and looking forward to the next adventure

Si ya sabía yo que entre Gruffi y Ursa había mucho más de lo que la serie dejaba ver. Se notaba demasiado el feeling entre ellos dos (de hecho, Gruffi solo se permitía el lujo de bromear CON ella, y eso ya decí mucho). Tiernísimo lo de ellos dos con hijos.
Cubbi como no, todo un caballero y Buddy todo un bárbaro... la pregunta es... habrá logrado Sunni que Gusto se fije en ella? Seguro que si... XD
