Mantis Warrior==========================================
A Praying Mantis inspired piece(also the MGS one). Done with the kickass Alchemy and a photoshop paintover.
I listen to lotsa music when i work so music is very important to me. Music comes in a variety of theme,genre and character so it all helps me find my way through designs..I know it sounds like some Hocus Pocus crap but im serious..
Like in this case i was listening to lotsa electronic and UT3 OST. like this

So when i work in a different genre i would find musics that support that genre, but here's where u really make it work when for example you're working on steampunk stuff, try listening to electronic and see what you get! lol it works for me.. music is a therapy
