This is Juna La'Raan. Wife to Maro Varrus La'Raan

And that's her pet Koala, a gift from ASS Empress Celeste. He's named Koala. Not the most creative name, but she did like the sound of the word.

Juna has been described as "eerily quiet" or " judicious in her conversation". She was also mentally evaluated and found to be "distant" and "untrusting". She insists that her standards for friends and acquaintances are just a little higher than most. She has acted and worked alone most of her life. If took Varrus 20 years (give or take ... the A'Cheis calendar is different) to earn her trust and love. Her reputation is one of a decisive decision maker, sharp-tempered, and unusually intelligent. She's also been noted for being extremely efficient, goal-oriented, and loyal

She's been many things in her life. A top student, an indigenist scholar, a frame gunner, and a special forces elite. More recently a wife. It's said that Varrus La'Raan was elected by such a large margin because he was bringing Juna with him. Her reputation as an elite is legendary and she is something of a hero to the A'Cheis.

But the one thing she wanted to be, after her retirement of course, was a mother. Unfortunately, old injuries and some of her advanced genetic enhancements left her unable to have children of her own. She and the Maro are looking into other options.

As a final note, an orange A-Cheis is fairly rare, and they are also not considered very attractive. Art-wise, her colors were inspired by a tiger lily.

For now, she has a modified space-koala to cuddle.
