Description
This is the first Final Fantasy X fanart I've done, and out of the three of these, this one is probably my favorite.

After I had my FFVII and FFVIII pieces done, I hit a wall. I couldn't think of what the hell I wanted for my FFX piece. Yuna, Lulu, and Rikku in swimsuits was as far ahead as I thought. I thought of having one of them with a Blitzball, and that's what gave me the idea to have them batting it around.

For poses, I looked at a lot of pictures of volleyball players, since what they're playing here is really, really, really simplified volleyball.

While it was easy to think of what I wanted for Yuna and Lulu's swimsuits, Rikku's took some thinking. For starters, the color scheme on her in-game outfit is kinda ugly, I think. I made the orange a lot brighter for her swimsuit. And at some point it just hit me to have her advertise herself as an Al Bhed Psyches fan. And be sure to check out her eyes, I was able to give her the distinctive Al Bhed spiral eyes. I NEVER noticed that when I played the game, I just read about while I was looking up pictures of Rikku for this piece.
