J.L. Borges, one of the most famous Argentine writers, and my personal idol.
He is remembered for two things:
First, though he waited for it all his life, and the whole world knew he deserved it, he never got a Nobel Literature Prize because of being suppportive of right-wing conservative movements in the second half of the twentieth century.
Second, he is remembered because he practically invented the central themes of films like "Inception" or some Sci-Fi films, with parallel dimensions and reality which is in fact a dream, and all that phylosophical existencialist stuff which makes your head hurt...and a lot!!
