Description
This would be the modern version of the piece I did in 1997. It's still in process as you can see. I decided to do this in colored pencil to play with the light and dark effects and see how well I'd mastered those in the context of a colored rendering. Sometimes it's hard to tell if I've got it right, but there's a moment when it finally begins to take shape. That's when I get excited because I know that the finished product will have the effect I'm going for.
