...Wow, it took me a long time to upload this...
...That, and I'm surprised people watch my srcaps. XD
Sorry for the long wait though.
As if it wasn't already obvious, this is that special pic that took me so long to finish and I was originally going to submit for the the MM Tribute book, but we all know how that ended... >.>
But if you haven't seen the whole thing yet, you could've seen it in the Art Buster Fanbook by now (lol, blatant late advertising)....Or downloaded the original zip file like I told you not to... If you did, I'm disappointed in you.
All jokes aside, I was trying to base this pic slightly on the official art and wanted to have both X and Zero in the pic (originally back to back, but once again, ran out of time). I also would've liked to ad more to the bg too. I'm saying all this because despite the fact that it looks decent, I'm not completely pleased with the final product (I could've done better on X... Sorry l'il blue guy... ;_; ). My eventual plan is to at least tweak this pic (for the better). Also, and critique you wanna through my way, I'll be willing to take.

However, you're correct. X is really brings this piece down :c He looks very out of place as is. I think he needs to blend more into the background... maybe sort of a wispy cloudish looking X, rather then the blue lines you have going on here?

It's really cool but my only problem is your watermark is eating the entire picture, and it makes it really hard to enjoy...
