Way back in 2002 when I first got into Megatokyo I made up a fanfiction idea about Miho's backstory. She had a boyfriend, wasn't gothy or depressing, and was from /the future/. Then something changed, she vanished, and Niles was looking for her since. I even had them together for my first avatar on the mt boards for Valentine's day and it stuck around for a while.

With the 'revelaitons' on Miho's backstory it may no longer be plausible per-se, but since my head went back there recently I thought about digging Niles back out and giving him another day, another moment with Miho *Shrug*.

I guess all this started when I was talking to one of my fellow writers and MT came up. She cut me off with "now it sucks!" which bothers me somehow... I guess in the way that she seemed confident that I'd agree with her. Frankly I like the direction mt took after Caston left because it's become a deeper series with characters I can empathize with. It's not the shallow gag-a-week that other webcomics appear to be, and I appreciate that. I also feel strangely sorry for Miho though, but I guess that's one of the common reactions to her tragic character. No surprise that I gave her a faux ff boyfriend I suppose.

Not sure if I want to do anything more with this or not. Just wanted to draw mt.
