Sometimes we dislike or fear the strange without any good reason.Appearances deceive us, or probably we are too full of prejudices to go beyond appearances.
So even if blood and bones are used we can't say they don't make something beautiful, 'cause those flowers are cute and sweet in their own way. And Num is proud of them.

Maybe a bit different from usual.
He water those vampire heart flowers with blood. And we can see underground that their seeds are bones. I like a lot the idea of seing even underground!
The concept was inspired by my Emily the strange t-shirt 'Don't fear the strange'. But on it Emily is similar to Death with a scythe and a cape!
I had this sudden idea complete with this title. Then thinking about a comment my t-shirt came to help me!

Anyway I draw with colour pencils and then in photoshop I add textures and adjust light and colours ^^

Indeed different from your 'normal' work, but I like it a lot! Seeing underground is very nice in this particular case, since you can see where the flowers are growing from. Great concept, hon!
