i couldn't choose one of you. i'm supposed to be studying for the science exam, but i chose to write this instead. the things we have gone through does not matter anymore, but more importantly, the fact that i know i have you both in my life. i love you both very much: sam, with your adorable teeth. i know people made fun of you for it, but your teeth are just who you are. it shows that not everyone is perfect but that doesn't mean they can't be amazing. you've grown so strong, it makes me proud. you and jackie both have big hearts and souls, to which i am connected to. jackie, you sat down beside me on the first day of sixth grade – it made me feel welcomed inside. and the one thing you do that makes you different from everyone else is that when i'm stressed or down, i say, "shoot me!" but then you always reply, "never."
