Description First update for a long time. I had the idea of a clipper version of the wind-powered airship. Don't really like the background. Got a little tired of it and rushed a bit.

I am developing a non-commercial pen& paper roleplaying game, working title "the world of jules verne", in a world (some may call it "steampunk") full of technological wonders, somewhat like in the game arcanum (but without the magic). Right now, I am searching for artwork which I could use for the game, and this would be perfect. do you mind if I use it? Even if you do, please tell me!! Thanks a million, coco

Lovely lines and great concept. There's so little good airship art around here! (I'm a total airship nut, btw.)

I really like the way you handle pencil shading. You let the natural tooth of the paper show through, let the graphite strokes remain -- that I really admire, as I confess to being a total tortillion whore when it comes to pencil shading. I let almost no trace of the actual strokes of the pencil remain upon the page!

I also admire your lack of fear of deep, strong values. Too many pencil artists end up with work that though fine looks rather greyish, often due to the lack of dark tones.

Pity that the background didn't get finished. (By the by, Laputa influence much? )

That's wicked. Don't know how it would work, since presumably the main body would act as a sail as well. Cool though. Somebody should try making a real one.
