Why is character designing so hard? XP

Sorry for being so inactive now and then. I'm working on many projects at once and I sometimes shove DeviantART aside for a bit. I also hope I can do something more than sketches sometime soon
Anyway, this is Raz, who was especially hard to design and her look will probably change again XP She's part of the story that I might actually start uploading here; it's nothing too complicated, more like a little practise. I hope I can turn it into something nice, though. And this is also done in a drawing style I'm testing out.
