I have a theory that the Dark world was created by Kris ans Asriel as kids, and that when Gaster fell into the CORE and apeared in Void, he found this litle pice of imagination as his "escape"
After a long time Kris and Asriel not interacting with the wold, thinks has changed to the form WE "played"

I really hope Toby explains the lore of light and dark worlds. How they were separated or connected in the past? Why light forgot the dark? When did everything happen? Why weren´t the light monsters imprisoned under the mountain? I want to know...
