This image was shot just seconds after the image marked "Johnny Depp 2". The lights on his face are from the public's camera autofocus assist lights.

Technically the image is dreadful and a normally I'd have deleted it. My camera's AF has locked onto his fringe and the shallow depth of field has left everything else out of focus. But this is one of the those images that I occasionally get which bypasses all my left brain analysis and tickles something in my right brain. I don't know why I like it other than the contrast in colours appeal, and frankly I don't care why, for me it just works. Sometimes you just have to trust your gut instinct.
