Talking to a friend who is afraid of clowns, I suddenly realized that I've never drawn clowns. I really love the whole carneval feel, with odd music and ... clowns.This is the first pic in a series of two, you could say. The other one is "Under Hermes bed." Another friend of mine who fears the clowns.

He looks so sad, and dark at the same time. I think I'd put your two clowns in the parade in Ray Bradbury's "Something Wicked This Way Comes". And... poor, poor Audrey.

the dominant dark shades are what makes this extra sweet. It's well done... has interesting subject, color, and lines, but the overall darkness of it gives it attitude... emotion... An excellent piece
