there is a big emptyspace,
a void, nothingness.
the air within was
thin,
barely breathable.
taking short sharp breaths,
between
moments she forgets.
an emptiness devoid of
matter,
but wisps of floating
memories.

done in painter from scratch. feb05. about 12hours. fullview it alright? ^^
i'm slowly working around to using photoshop to paint nowadays. recently i've been doing more scenes and environmental pracs, will post them in the future.
ps: i haven't said this in a while. thanks for your words and support for my works. they meant alot to me, and still do.

Occasionally, I find myself transfixed in awe at an artwork. This seems to happen a little more regularly when I see new works from you. XD
You have something special in the way that elements of your compositions interweave and blend. One thing leads to another, one thing becomes the next, on and on it goes until your eyes settle on the perfect harmony of all that is seen. This balancing act is so purely executed here that you barely notice. It's easy to lose yourself to this as if slipping into a dream. My favourite thing for this painting is the way you've done the spheres in her hair. It reminds me of a pendulum and this dynamic presence in the painting pulls you deeper and deeper into the scene. The lines carefully spiraling help you to completely forget the necessity of determining where to focus and instead, to me, the only question that I have is... what did she forget? :] It's a story entirely in itself and the reason I love your works.
