This is the Daimon Hellstrom “Son of Satan” mini-bust I sculpted for Bowen Designs last year. It was great to get a chance to sculpt some torso anatomy after spending so much time strictly concentrating on portrait work for DC Direct.

Randy Bowen originally came up with the concept for this piece based of the cover of “Marvel Spotlight #13”, and he let me add some of my own ideas to it like including the large pentagram shape on the base.

The majority of the piece was sculpted in Super Sculpey and Magic-Sculpt with the circular base being turned out of a block of wood on my miniature wood lathe.
