This is some screenshots taken of my latest project: Mac OS X iLimited. These screenshots was taken due to a lot of kind requests.
I would really appreciate to hear what you think about it, since i have made a lot of changes since the previews.
Please comment and tell me what you think
Some changes since the 3rd/last preview:
- Start menu is now finished
- Start button when clicked have gotten a makeover (it is completely new and more stylish)
- Fixed A LOT of bugs (at least i thought they were bugs (I am such a perfectionist, now you know ))
- Auto Installer finished, just need to finish the content (Visual Style, dock skin, iLimited Finderbar, Wallpapers etc.) and then add it to the installer.
- New dock almost finished (as you can see on the screenshot i still need to fix the angle of the perspective)
- Mac OS X iLimited Clock almost integrated (as you can see on the screenshot there are still some bugs in the integration)
- Mac OS X iLimited FinderBar finished (see "Full Version" screenshot(the other menus are also functional))
- Wallpaper finished (see preview) (i might consider making some more)

Hey, anybody and the owner of this Theme, does anybody know of a great MAC/OS Theme with a Windows flag instead of the Apple's. Meaning the start button. And I use the regular
Personalize-->Theme and TuneUp Styler 2. So I need a file that works with that. I have a Vista. Thanks. And this theme looks great, except for Apple Flag.

is this made for vista for xp and another question is is the start menu actually going to look like that? like a real mac? where when you click on a program the task bar changes to show the file menu blahblah blah options?

What is a year to a perfectionist, if it concerns a labour of love? I am afraid it might take some considerable time for him to release it (if he ever is going to release it at all). The best thing we can do may be to stop actively waiting for it, and to stop bugging him about it. (Which may only put him off.) If he ever releases it, it may be one of the best themes that can be found here. Unfortunately, things get never really perfect - and the biggest problem for him may not be to get the last 5% of his work right - but to simply let go his theme and release it...
Or to put it otherwise: Peter Jackson ones said something like: "Things get never perfect, you just run out of time." The question thus is: What happens if you have no deadline - and desperately want your work to be 100% perfect?

Really appreciate the hard work you're putting in this Visual Style for us! Personally, I think the taskbar from the 3rd preview is better than this one, but that's just my opinion. Maybe you could include the option of allowing users to customize the taskbar with different styles, such as this one or the 3rd preview kind? Just a little more variety in to be able to choose from would be nice for it. I'd also like to suggest the option of making the taskbar a bit transparent?

I see your point in creating options for the taskbar styles, there is just the problem with this that it would take a lot of extra substyles. Since there will already be like 4.
Actually there is a built in function in FinderBar to make the taskbar transparent.

Thanks for the reply! All I'm really concerned is the font, nothing big LOL. Just'd like it to be as close to Mac's as possible, but I understand if that's not possible (They charge insane prices JUST for that font too). Even if there's no customization for the taskbar other than transparency, it's still a marvelous Visual Style, nonetheless. I wish you the best of luck in completing this brilliant project!
