Cover for Elak of Atlantis - by Henry Kuttner - part of the Planetstories novel series from Paizo.This was done a while back actaully, an experimental with brushes and texture, not sure if it turned out like what I wanted lol, so I didn't really wanted to post it.... but ya here it is haha!

I just finished an Elak novel and was trying to picture the main character as he is described being reminiscent of a wolf. I have to say you've done a great job incorporating that into this picture.
I pictured him in my head being slightly more like Iggy Pop but you've come very close to what I had in mind.

the reds in the background really help set the mood in this one. My only one complaint is that it's a bit too dark in the piece to see the tentacle creature. Otherwise I say job well done

The terror that tentacle guy invokes is almost physical, as was said before it's the crashing colors and black space toward the top that make this piece awesome.
