Description

A supervillain’s plan to disable the Justice League results in a number of male superheroes becoming not only female, but also pregnant. They find themselves trapped in their female form until they give birth- provided they’re not stuck this way permanently- and they’re doing their best to adapt to their new situations, with some of them being more accepting of their impending motherhood than others. It's not long at all before they discover that their changes aren't merely physical, and that they aren't the only ones affected; as far as everyone but their closest friends and loved ones know, they've always been heroines...



Between her senior year and her role as the Batwoman of Gotham City forty years in the future, Theresa "Terri" McGinnis already had a lot on her plate, and that was before she had to figure out how she was going to handle taking care of a baby. Unlike the transfigured heroines of this strange reality she’s visiting, her pregnancy wasn’t caused by the event that genderflipped her. No, she wound up in the family way the old-fashioned way: as soon as she became a girl, Terri noticed just how schway Nash was. Well, until he got her pregnant and dumped her ass, anyaway; she got even with him, though. Of course, life as a single mom at eighteen isn’t going be easy, especially not with her other responsibilities, but with a little help from her mom and her girlfriends Max and Dana, she’ll probably manage just fine.

Since arriving in this world, she’s bonded with Jamie Reyes, the third Blue Beetle, over their somewhat similar circumstances and similar taste in clothes and music. Unfortunately, it looks like girls’ night out is cancelled, as Jamie seems like she’s got family dropping by, and fast…

So I decided to throw in a genderbent Terry from Batman Beyond, because I still fucking love that show. Due to their similar ages and high-tech costumes, I decided to pair her of with Blue Beetle III.

Anyways, during a break while patrolling at night, Jamie gets hit with a huge contraction right in the middle of a conversation, worrying Terri. I might do a follow-up of her in labor and accidentally wrecking everything. Basically, the Reach don't reproduce like humans so the scarab has no idea what's going on; all it knows is that Jamie is in a lot of pain, so it's basically using all of its weapons to protect its host from a threat that doesn't actually exist, endangering not only the people around, but also, unknowingly, Jamie and her babies (because she isn't going to be able to give birth through the armor.
