Well, even if the background did kill you (my condolences), it is really gorgeous. Even though we mostly skim over the little details like those tiny circles of light, if they weren't there I think we would notice it on a subconscious level. In any case, all the silvery tones work well together, but at the same time the large dark trunk and the two dark(ish) wings draw your eyes straight to the girl. Very nicely done. Favorited.

This is absolutely gorgeous. ItΒ΄s been a while since I found something so appealing to the eye (itΒ΄s literally a treat to the sight) the soft colors specially the green color really give that sense of utter peace, the water transmits even more calmness while the flowers, use of light and the young girl character combined tells anyone that gazes at this magnificent piece of art the true meaning of beauty.
The time spent on this was truly worth it; this is just like the true personification of an Arcadia (this is supported by the symbolism of the girl in the picture who represents innocence, purity and delicacy )
You have great talent, I sure support you on continuing developing your skills and treating people with outstanding compositions similar to this one or what may come from your brilliant mind

Oh I'm just kidding.. This is awesomely good. Love the colors, which are natural to the earth and forest, yet the ...fairy..elf..pixie.. magoo thing has a bit of pink and purple at her wing tips, which gives you the feeling she isn't bound to the Forest like say a naiad to water or a tree nymph to their oak.. Very very well done
