Description
Sometimes, you just can't catch a break, not even on vacation.
That's how April O'Neil feels right now. Her tropical vacation was going well for the most part. No aliens, robots, or evil ninjas bent on world domination showing up. No mad scientists either. Shell, no one was even trying to erupt the volcano. All was fine, until she went for a swim. She'd gone pretty far out when she came across a couple guys in wetsuits with some kind of box. She soon saw it was an antique chest. She didn't think anything of it until another guy came up behind her and dragged her to the surface. She had to surface anyway, but he forced her onto his boat where he tied her hands, gagged her and brought her below deck, where he also tied her feet.
Barbara Gordon, meanwhile, was also on vacation. She'd been trying to rent a boat so she could go out diving with her friend tomorrow. She went to the marina, found a few boats that had signs on them, and approached one that had someone sitting on the deck. She was going to ask if this boat was for rent, how much, and if it was available tomorrow afternoon. She'd barely gotten the first question out when the man took out his gun, told her to join him below deck, and he then tied her up and gagged her. When the gun came out, she wondered if it was even his boat at all.
So here they were, tied up in their bikinis and at the mercy of treasure hunters. No heroes in sight. No turtles, no Batman, no Robin and a sinking feeling about where they were headed.
