Description
While on vacation in the tropics, Autobot friend and ally Carly ran in to one of her favorite musicians, Kimber Benton of the Holograms. She was really excited and the two of them hit it off. Someone came up to them and asked if they wanted to see the volcano up close, but both women politely rejected the offer.
"I don't like volcanoes." Kimber explained to Carly after the guy left. "I was kidnapped and left tied up in one."
"You too, huh?" Carly asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah. Some guy wanted to keep me out of a competition. Can you believe it? He nearly killed me for that. What about you?"
"Discovered an alien plot to destroy the world." Carly shrugged. Kimber just stared at her, wide eyed. "It happens more often then you might think."
"and I thought we had some crazy adventures when we went on tour." Kimber said.

that didn't stop the women from running into some trouble later on. they were swimming and had just come in from the water. they were tired and laughing.
"Hey, I don't think this is where we came from." Kimber said, looking around. Sure enough, their towels were nowhere to be seen. After resting for a few minutes, they went to go find their stuff.
What they didn't realize at first was that they were going the wrong way. that happens, since they didn't have their bearings, and they soon realized they were getting near a cave leading to the volcano. It was something of a shaft for the lava. But before they could turn around, they were grabbed from behind and dragged into the shaft. They were tied and gagged, left in there. Clearly something had been going on there, and whoever did this thought they had been witnesses to it.
either way, this doesn't help their dislike of volcanoes.

I came up with this one because... well, the scene from Jem with Kimber is what originally inspired the Carly scene I've drawn multiple times. it was for a comic that never materialized, that's why there were so many. I was originally going to put Kimber in the swimsuit she was wearing in that episode before her capture(I think it was a yellow one-piece), while Carly was going to wear the swimsuit I usually put her in. I just love that one, first one I drew for her. But as I drew it, i decided to put them in bikinis here, because why not? the print on Kimber's bikini matches the dress she had on during her volcano peril.
