Description Just taking a break from gifts and trades to add another letter to my fanart alphabet

For E it's Ember from the wonderful world of Elfquest!
I would have rather done this one with traditional tools for the hair alone, but alas I still have no table
Ah well, it was fun either way ^_~
This is before she gets her cheif's lock...and apparently before she got her arm bands...that I forgot to put on >_>
It looks like I gave her bad posture and didn't notice it till the end. Ah well.

She's such a great character who developed and matured greatly in the series...but I'll always remember her for her pre-cheiftess days and she was wild and free ^_~

That I agree! It might be sacrilage to say it... but I never liked Adult Ember from Wendy Pini XD I prefer Teenage and Kid way, way more XD She was so lively!!

This is too cool. She looks so full of dreams and hope, unlike how she looks dragged down at the beginning of her cheiftanship. I love the colors, so very bright and true. I love this piece.

Thanks so much for the kind words and fav ! I was rereading HiddenYears #4 when I drew this. That's my favorite version of her. Old enough to try and make her own desicions, but still spunky enough to defy her father and board the palace

I was in the middle of rereading good ol' Elfquest before I drew this. Wendy's art is inspiring! You know they have almost all of the comic online now? I kinda miss the old' EQ.com, but having all the issues just a click a way is just fantastic

Yeah, I did know about that. I need to read it (though I'd really like to get my hands on the out-of-print $50 Wendy-colored-it-in-Photoshop compilation). Her art sure is inspiring! It's because of her that I stepped up my game in high school and really learned how to draw, copying her art style until I developed my own!

You should try to read Elfquest when you get the chance, it is one of my all time favorite comics EVER O_O.

Oo, very nice! I'm really enjoying this great series of portraits! Her posture doesn't look too bad. I actually think she just looks a little shy. Maybe it's the raised shoulders (from the angle of her clavicles).

This is quite a cute version of her!

THAT'S IT! Ugh, I wish I noticed that earlier -_-..the shoulder is above the clavicle, do'h! I was wondering why she didn't look like she was standing up straight. Thanks for that, I'll watch out for shoulder positioning the next time I draw ^_~.

Homie, you need to visit the Elfquest site o_o, they have every issue online now! And the coloring was upgraded from the ones Norma had in highschool ^_~.[link]
