trying a more painterly style~ and finally, i got back onto photoshop
i been stuck in "artists block" for the longest time and couldnt really draw anything proper, anyways, back to the pic: usually when i try painting with photoshop i get way too caught up with details and try to make everything precise (even this pic i did a lot of editing) but idk... comment below on how this turned out? 
my characters arent very creative either... i sort of just wanted to work on something, especially theres the fact that i havent posted to dA in a long time... anyways, let me know what to work on, whats good, whats bad, anything~ 
this is pic 9/15+ for my new years resolution~ hehe, yes, im still ahead of schedule, almost done~ ^-^

This is very neat and yet colorful. The pose could be a bit more active,but it does have a relaxed and innocent vibe to it. The minor crit I like to offer is to maybe practice full backgrounds. It would help establish a ''world'' whether it is a school setting, or him departing from home. But this is a nice character even if a random one.
