I just like it a lot because it gives me the sense of the character from the movie. Where the way the back ground is colored in even looks like the dusty back drop from the movie. It seems like your work is a lot like this. Where the picture is done with a sense of the film in that scope...and not just the character in mind. So, it's like a completely brand new image of a film character that I happen to appreciate a lot.

I did some acting for awhile. So, this form kind of reminds me of costuming a show when really well done, almost like the set's and word's of the character's from the film's start to become very present, when details are allowed to form from someone that seems to care about film and character work in a way that shows a depth of detail that sort of exists on emotionally artistic or empathetic level. So, yes, it is a compliment well earned, for sure.

Thank you so much! I'm a huge movie nerd so I tend to draw/paint a lot of my favorite characters from them and I do try to convey what that character represents.

Very much appreciated and by that I mean it's very enjoyable to see your art work, and it definitely distills that kind of essence of classic film, materializing in a way where you kind of feel like your at the theater, by seeing the art work. I mean I guess having the movie nerd thing makes it directed in that way.
