Heart rendering. beautiful composition and choice of tones. The blue/violet hue to the whole image increases the feeling of cold to the piece. The tonal range is really working in every pixel of this. You captured deep blacks that swollow detail enhancing the heaviness of the girls heart, complimented by the purinty in the white of her eyes, giving her an feeling of inocense. The red of the rose is subtle enough to draw your attention with out being over done. The only comment I would make about this would be the direction of the girls eyes, had you tried her looking at the steps or rose? It may make her look sadder or even tearful, as though she were trying to hide her tears.

Niki, at this point, I don't think that I can say anything to you that hasn't been said before. But I think this is amazing. It makes a person feel so many things all at once... I think the glow in the picture really softens it and humanizes it. The glow upon the steps and the way it flows from the top left corner, it's as if you are a fragment of a dream (in more ways than one!). I think your posture is perfect, and the look on your face is just so captivating...it makes it hard to look away from you at all.
It makes me wish that it was I you were waiting for (as long as you weren't there to break my heart). I know you must have been told this many times before, but you look so stunning here. I am jealous for 2 reasons: 1) that you aren't waiting for me (ha) and 2) that you aren't closer to where I am, so that I could shoot pictures with you as well!
I apologize if this was too long, but it's such an amazing photo. I hope I didn't say too much...

my belly went warm when i saw this shot, its so nice, its so much to say about this photo, i love the bluryness about it and the blueness hitting the blackness, and the emotion on the modell is so sad to look at but soo nice to.

The blue and the blur is nice, the whole idea is wonderfull, the top of the stairs the light is a little harsh, but adds a surreal effect

Such grand emotion, and wonderful brightening of the photo towards the edges, I love everything this is

The emotions spilling from this piece and seeping through the goosebumped pores of my darkened and ocean worn skin are so sad. Broken hearts are indeed sad and uneventful, but this piece speakings of more than soul entrappment. Your friend did an amazing job on the shot, and of course the model is gorgeous and doesn't deserve to be in pain. I could never hurt someone as spiritful, personalty unspoken of beauty, and physical magnificience as you. But, I guess I am old fashioned.
