This is the first fully vectored piece of art that I've put on DA. Woo...

I've had this concept lying around in sketch form for about a year or so. Inspired partly by my dad's dog Alvin (who's a pug... he's well mental ), I thought combining a doggy with a daruma would be a pretty cool idea.
For those unfamiliar with Japanese culture, a daruma is a traditional doll based on a legendary monk. It is rather like a weeble ("weebles wobble but they don't fall down!").

I'd always planned to work this design up in Illustrator, with a view to it being as graphically slick as possible... and now I've finally got around to it.
I'd love to get it printed on T-shirts ideally.
