Illustration for the fantasy romance "Destino"
Fantasy romance is not my thing,
but I hope this can be a good cover for the book! You can see it as a cover 
here . The male character is an elf, since he is quite protective about her I tried to suggest this thing with his pose: his hand hold her arm and, while the overall atmosphere is still serene, yet he is looking attentively around.
But the girl is the main focus of the image, and of the book, so I put her in the center of the cover, looking to the reader, wearing a golden dress on a cold-paletted image. Yeah, it's like I'm screaming "her! you should look at HER!"

A guy looks like he's a protector of a girl,and I think it's a very nice work, I like that their emotions are different - it creates an intrigue for the story. *ah, now I read it in a description

Anyway, I got many different opinions on the guy, as I said. Many told me that his expression looks void, here you tell me that he express an emotion stronger than what I thought... Well, that's probably because I haven't nailed really well the expression, but partly because communication is always made of both the author and the viewer.

Maybe that's because all people have different experience and live surrounded by different cultures? For example here if you use gestures it looks weird to people - while for some other countries it's normal. For some countries smile is a general expression - for other it's strange when a person smiles without a reason. I think if you don't draw symbolic expressions - you always have different interpretations.

Amazing work! The picture's beautiful and it get's the story across wonderfully. It looks even better on the cover and that's a hard thing to do. Great work as always!
