Pokemainia is running wild zu-brother! I’ve been wanting to do one of these pokefusion pictures for a while now, so when one of Vancouver’s local videogame theme bars had an art contest it seemed like as good a reason as any to give it a shot. I really like the abra family of pokemon, because at first glance they look like cute fuzzy forest friends, but when you check the sprites out a little closer you realize they’re all segmented and armour shelled. All crazy psychic xenomorph dudes, just trying to earn a living one spoon at a time.
As a side note, if you live in Vancouver (the Canada one) you can head on down to the EXP bar and check out this and a few prints of other entries until the 18th of November.
