Well done Marion, nice to see you venturing out of your norm. Love the mirroring in this, works well to complete the photo. Splendid toning, morose and slightly creepy mood it brings. The photo is softer than I would like, makes the bright rock in the middle really stand out and breaks up the darkness. This could be seen as either working or not. I want to see it all dark, so for me, it kind of disrupts that mood at this point. But on the other end it creates an area to start from or end at in the darkness, all while working with the skys light.
A wonderful creative shot.

There's something about this piece that just seems, well inspirational. I'm afraid I'm not quite sure how to qualify that, just a strong feeling I get from it.
Technically, this is absolutely fantastic. And visually, well it's a stunner. The tones you've chosen, not to mention the perfect image to mirror, work so very well for the application. Love the "almost painted" touches in the foreground. Really embelishes the surreality of the depths going on - which are almost "fantasy" in nature.
All around, fascinating work.
