Ahh these two are countries made human - in this case Lithuania and Poland - from a webcomic made by a guy called Hidekaz Himaruya. Basically the characters are stereotypes of what we believe people in the countries to be like - i.e. America likes burgers, England is obsessed with tea, Germany is really strict and likes beer, and Russia's just a tad creepy lol.

I totally recommend it .

Both your ideas are really cool! I'm especially keen on the first - fantasy and other-worldly things really get my vote - and it's okay to be obsessed - that's an especially good obsession in my books. Omg vampires are hot lol. If you have anymore ideas brewing around these ideas, please feel free to expand

In the past the person I've written with has come up with their own OC, (and so have I XD) and we include them in the story - would you be up for that at all or would you prefer just sticking to the original charas? [Here's the OC I created for a Naruto fic years ago, [link] and the OC design based on my friend's character [link] ].

Either way's fine with me (I have a newly created OC I could use if you like the idea - I can tell you more about her if you're interested) - I'll just end up favouring a couple of charas if you'd rather not use OCs - omg I'm so excited.

Actually I did have a bit more to expand on with the supernatural idea. I was thinking using Hetalia within it. And I can't think of which coupling, or love triangle to use. Though, I'd love to throw in a couple OCs because they always make the story more fun. So what do you think?

Yay for OCs! As for the coupling/ triangle... hmmm maybe we can create a main one from our faves and include some of the more canony ones like GerxIta. If I had to choose my absolute fave charas it'd be prussia and england, but as a coupling that might put people off . Who're your absolute faves? (It's hard to pick, isn't it?)

I once read a fic in the kink meme where america's been kidnapped by "faries" to another dimension on halloween and england has to try to save him - it was brilliant . Magic and dark angstyness - forbidden love seemed to be a major theme if I remember right.

Thinking about it you might not actally mean supernatural in that sense ^o^' hohoho...

The OC I've created is Pangaea - you know how the countries were all said to be stuck together before they came to their current layout? I thought the different phases there would be great to use as OCs - I mean, if Prussia, Germania and Granpa Rome are somewhere out there (hopefully ) then why not have the past countries/ continents living or still around somewhere? Like rather than being nations per say, they have slightly different jobs - my chara Pangaea is supposed to be the embodiment of empires later lol. You could create an OC out of that, or maybe a country who still hasn't appeared in Hetalia yet .

Ahh I'm going on a bit too much ^^' lol. Do you have a plot in mind at all?

I love your OC: Pangaea, that is very creative! And actually I haven't created an OC yet for Hetalia...A bit slow there

But I love your thinking. And actually yes I did have a plot in mind for the story. Still I can't think of all the Hetalia characters >< It's extremely hard for me, since I get confused with the different characters sometimes

As for the plot here is it: I was thinking that one of the main characters (that we both adore to no end) be transformed into a vampire so to speak. Though, I was thinking since Pangaea was the "mother of all countries" that he could be the Head Vampire. While the pairing for the first character can be his soon to be mate. Or something like that

I hope that plot's okay. If you want to expand on it or change it. I'm all ears for listening

Thank you! I'm quite fond of the character idea too (I rarely have good ideas XD). Aww no worries - slow is good, you'll probably just end up with a better character in the end.

Yesh! There are a lot of them - I spent hours working out who was who and what they were like lol.

Oo okies vampys are cool stuff - ah Pangaea's a girl actually, so maybe we could get one of the other previous country/ continents involved as the one in the love idea,(yaoi would probably be better XD) though I'm sure she'd be chuffed if you let her be Head Vampire anyway lol .

Wikipedia has a lot of articles on the old land arrangements, but before [Pangaea] there was [Pannotia] and before that [Rodinia], which were basically the same as Pangaea with all the land stuck together. There were also phases in between, where the land was split in half etc, so those phases/ land masses would be [Avalonia], [Laurentia, Siberia and Baltica] and also [Proto-Laurasia and Proto-Gondwana].

In my mind, due to the ratio of Hetalia guys being so much greater than the girls, all those characters are guys . When creating Panagaea I thought of how they could be linked with eachother and came up with [Rodinia's] younger twin brothers being [Proto-Laurasia and Proto-Gondwana]. [Laurentia, Siberia and and Balitca] I thought could be [Pannotia's] childhood friends and [Avalonia] would be [Pangaea's cousin]. I know, the linking is random .

Of course none of them have to be included in this at all, I just thought I'd share .

Oo I had a brainwave on the vamp idea (shoot me down if it sucks ). Okay so you said that one of the main ones is turned into a vampire, right? We could have another character, who seriously loves/ fancies said character, as a vampire already and they have to struggle against their desire to bite the one they like, while keeping their "condition" secret from non-vampires. Oo and you mentioned a head vampire that sounds awesome - we could have a proper council of vampires and everything, with some of the Hetalia countries as members of it, with the rest completely unaware that this society exists. Last brainwave coming: myabe, like Vampire Knight, because they're countries, their status as vampires would be more of a noble or aristocratic class than human vampires, so when they bite someone, if they don't kill them doing so, they turn them into a vampire. Whereas human class vampires are of a lower class and merely drink to satisfy their blood lust, but can only kill, if anything. So due to this, the main character has a problem: if they bite the one they love (who they really want to) they'll be forcing the secret and life upon them, which leads to a moral dilema and angst. Lol, I like me some angst, though I dunno how well I can write it.

Of course you can completely disagree with my additions/ ideas, I don't mind , but if you like them feel free to add more. Oh man I got into a hyper moment and wrote too much haha.

Ack! so many reallys woah - I'm hoping you copied and pasted those, 'cos if you typed that it must've taken a while (if you took the extra effort to do that I must say thanks ).

I'm glad you like them - I wasn't even sure if I was making sense as I typed them - my brain runs away and I usually end up missing out words and key points lol. Are you definitely sure there's nothing you want to add to it? If you have a sudden moment of inspiration, just yell, 'kay?

And don't worry about calling her a him, it's completely understandable - Hetalia's full of testosterone so it's to be expected . In all honesty I think it does sound more like a guy's name :S lol. Ooooh do you prefer to use Country names or human names or both? I don't mind either personally.

We seriously need to choose a main pairing - best thing is we can do another fic in the future if this works out, so we can always choose another then . I've totally taken your advice in regards to the savingness - I used to do the same in the past so I could reference and "know" the story and characters inside-out, but I guess I'm a little out of practice .

Aww it makes me really happy that we more or less support the same pairings! That makes it so much easier to not disagree, but so much harder to choose a main pairing due to the sheer number we support . How can we choose...? Oh oh oh - how about if we think about characterization? Like who'd we be able to write in character easily and who we'd have more problems with - that should narrow it down a little (<-- maybe >o< ) - by the way, would it be alright if, when I right my chapters, I write more from the point of view of a single character where possible? I find it easier to focus on one character otherwise I'm overwhelmed (especially seeing as Hetalia is jam-packed with charas X3) - I don't use first person narrative exactly - um, it's hard to describe what it is exactly - it's sort of third person pov, but focusing on someone a little - like in Harry Potter, Rowling writes with her focus on Harry, but not from his pov - kinda like that.

Here's a very brutal grouping (and I do mean brutal XD):
- Alright characters I'd find it harder to write would be - Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Hungary, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Belarus, Italy (somehow I don't think I could keep up his hyper energy), China, Russia, Korea, Japan
- The characters I think I know reasonably well and would find easier would be - Prussia, England, America, France, Canada, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Romano, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Greece

That's more or less halved it for me - who'd your preferences be, or who would you find easiest to keep in character?

As for linkage - lemme seeeee *looks for link* - um, hmm? Ah hah! Gotcha! This writer is seriously good, there's quite a number of fics she's written, and I'd recommend you have a look round her LJ to find them -

- or maybe some America x England vs. Prussia x England (we can make it a triangle in the end if we sympathise too much with the left out chara).

Ame x Eng is very well supported and I think it'd be easy to write with all the examples on the net - at the same time Pruss x Eng is unbelievably hilarious - oo if you want a link to a Hetalia School fic with them in it, let me know 'kay?

Background couples could include some France x Canada, Lithuania x Poland, Spain x Romano, Norway x Denmark and (omg this one would be too hilarious!!) Germany x Greece X3. <-----I got that from pairing up the charas on your easier to write list and in the end onlu Ger and Gree were left - imagine the combo of Greece's laid-backness and Germany's strict never-stop-working attitude.

If you're all for it, I'd love to give it a go . Alright so what should I cover in the first chap...

Brainstorm:
Oh. My. Gosh. I've had an idea - should we have both Eng and Pruss as vamps?
- Eng really likes Ameri and wants to bite him, but doesn't want to ruin their relationship as good friends, but he's unaware that Ameri likes him back. Pruss, being his usual self is jealous that Eng is paying Ameri so much attention and keeps trying to get in the way of the two. At first Pruss thinks it's because he and Eng are, like, almost the best of mates and like to get drunk together (so he tells himself if Ameri and Eng get together they'll have less fun), but later he discovers that he actually reallllllly likes Eng in a more romantic + lustful sense (so he realises he just doesn't want Ameri and Eng together, period).

Ideas for the chap
Maybe start with a brief description of vampires~
Have brief mentions of a world meeting~
Then have a gathering of the Vampire Council~
Vampire stuff happens - like talking about vampirey things (sorry I'm not entirely sure what that can be off the top of mi 'ead XD)~
During the meeting Pruss and Eng talk and mess around, but Eng is more down than usual~
Pruss asks what's wrong - Eng tells him that he's worried about Ameri and about his desires/fears of biting him~
Pruss gets jealous~
Can end with the two of them going to the pub with Denmark, France, Spain, my OC Pangaea and if you have an OC then her/ him too (seems like a good drinking group of older brothers to me ) after the meeting and ends with Pruss inviting Eng to bite him and settle his lust for Ameri in a dark alleyway or something.

What d'you think? Is that okay? If you have anything to add please do! Especially if you have any idea of what vampires would talk about at a vampy council meeting...

I love your ideas for the chapter. Though, I ask: may I do the chapter where Americ and Eng settle their lust in a dark alleyway. You can do the bite part...but I'd LOVE to write the settling part :3 Please? (Though, depends on if it's a sex scene persay or just Eng telling Amer about his desire to be with him, in a vampy kinda way :3 I'd write it either way x3)

As for your brainstorming, you're creative in detail, I love it! As for the vampy council I'd talk about these ideas maybe (<----Still open for discussion XD) :


Ideas:
-biting of humans (mortals)
-desired mates
-blood desire (since some vamps can't control that desire XD)
-appearance accounts (mostly being seen by mortal eyes kinda of deal. Though this would be if they're not wanting mortals to find out about them being vamps, of course)
-head vampire (really do need one of those They're so much fun to write about!)

Oh, as well as I love your idea for adding in the dark details, and myths, of the vampire race. Though, if you wanted I'd write about some of the myths that can be proved wrong. Unless you'd like me to write about those. Since I'd love too. But up to you, since you get the honor of writing the first chapter

Ooo another idea forming:
If you'd like, you can focus more on the relationship/ moments between Ameri and Eng in your chaps and I can do the relationship between Pruss and Eng in mine - that way you'll get to do that lovely scene of yours (I vote sexytimes, but that's just me X3) in the future and we'll be able to share the angst/ lust/ love moments evenly (I think ^o^; ). What d'you think?

Oo I also have two questions:
1) Is this gonna end up AmerixEng with Pruss broken hearted? Or is it gonna end up a nice threesome? Either way's fine with me - that means we'll get to write either a threesome or Prussia angst
2) How many chaps are you willing to do? It'd be great if we can make this a reasonably long story lol.

Oh yes - we could at some point have a threat/ crisis that threatens all vampys, and Ameri (who at this point knows about their existence and that his love is one ) tries (and succeeds!) at playing the hero. We can have the confession taking place at a drunken celebration or something and the moment they settle their lust happening then *nudge nudge* - I already can't wait to read that . I think it's up to you how explicit/ dirty that'll be, but I'll look forward to the moment either way haha. What d'you think? If you like the idea and can think of a problem please expand, and if not, we can scrap that lol.

As for the council I love your ideas on topics! What I mentioned before was all going to take place in the first chapter actually - the discussion would be going on more in the background of Pruss asking Eng what's wrong, so you'll be able to expand on that in further meetings in your chaps if you'd like .

Pruss can offer Eng to bite him telling him to "think of me as that hero of yours, America. I'm just that awesome a guy that I'll do this for you." (I was hoping that could happen at the end of this first chap, so overall we'd have a prologue-ish thing, with the readers knowing that A fancies B and B fancies A, while C likes A but doesn't realise it). So their relationship can be based on Eng going to him whenever he's close to biting/ etc *wink* Ameri, but the relationship between AmerixEng progresses anyways as Ameri begins to take the initiative.

Lol, this sounds a bit like a drama/ soap on tv.

I hope I'm not being too ambitious, but your initial ideas now have me overflowing with stuff (ideas and hot vampire scenes mainly ).

Oo and if you want to write about myths and stuff in the chaps I'm all for it - I think you know a lot more about these things than I do .

So is that okay? If it is I'll start writing the first chap .
Quick summary of first chap:
- brief mention of vamps
- flashbacks to the most recent world meeting during a vampire council gathering where eng tells pruss about his lust for ameri
- pruss gets a bit jealous and tries to get the attention back on himself, before recommending they drown their sorrows in a pub after the meeting
- sadly they get jumped by france, spain, denmark, pangaea and all go together instead
- after the pub they head over to whoever's house is closest where pruss tells eng to bite him and think of america as he does
- ends with england fantasizing about america as he does so

Then your chap would start - If you want we can brainstorm yours now, or after my chap is done - it's up to you ^^

OMG! I love it! I can't wait to read your chapter! I'm already excited!

As well as you have no idea how much I want to write the second chapter already XDD You have just opened the door to several very strong, very hot vampy scenes in my mind. Thank you Viz! I know I'm a bit obsessed but I do love writing scenes like that. Oh I have a few ideas I'd love for you to read. So here they are:

Ideas for Chapter 2:
-Going along with England biting Prussia and having him fantasizing about American. Have that scene continue on into my chapter XD

-Then after everything settles down from their little partying night at the pubb, have England wake and leave the whomever's house he's at (that's up to you, since you are writing the first chapter )

-Have him show up at America's house as he watches him sleep, or something. Still working on details there XDD And his fantasy takes a "dark" turn of events *wink, wink*

So what do you think? Though, it won't be like one of those "OMG! America I love you...I want to bite you deals" I can promise you that :3

More or less it will be England going over in his mind of what could happen. So it will be a rather long chapter XDD

As to your questions: Hmm...I think this might be a good suggestion: (though you can add more or say otherwise if you wish)

Chapter Total: At least 15
Main Coupling: I was thinking more of England and America together with Prussia in angst. (Since then I could do a spin off if you wish. of Prussia getting England. OMG! Now I want to write that too XDD)

I hope that helps you out. And I may know a bit more than you. But I'll just have to see, since I don't want to bore people with the details, you know? XD Though, I'm liking this more and more now!
