This morning I was shocked by news about Kentaro Miura's death. Definitely too young (especially for Japenese) to die, and now his greatest story will become one of these never-ending legends... But still we all can say that he was one of the greatest artist - not only for manga, but for all culture. I'm glad I could read Berserk when he was still alive, and I am still amazed how much the story inspired all of dark fantasy genre.Rest in peace, Master. Thank you for your work.

He may have left Enough notes and an outline for his editors to cobble together a Novel, with his final illustrations. Christopher Tolkien proved it could be done even with notes as disorganized as his father’s.
