This is awesome!  It brings back such great memories of an amazing game!

i personally love all of the changes, it makes it unique and Cloud's longsword is bad-ass!  Barret's crossbow reminds me of Gut's crossbow from Berserk -- I wonder if that was the intention or inspiration!

I like'em. My only issue really is with the weapons...
You gotta keep Cloud's sword, it is as iconic as the characters themselves...

I don't mind the cross bow so much, but if he has his second hand, he should just wield the large weapon. Either that or give him one of his melee attachments like a spike ball.

Lastly, The staff gives the impression that Aeris is a mage, which she wasn't. She was a healer, for sure, but she always physically hit people with the staff, not shoot magic.

Just my two cents, overall great job. I really do like it.

These are each very good designs. Out of all of these, Barret is probably my favorite. If you are doing any more from Final Fantasy VII, I would love to see either Vincent or Sephiroth.
